Mesco Group started out as a furniture manufacturer in the year 1969 in Calicut, founded by late Mr. Mesco Aboobacker Hajee. The furniture store is located at YMCA cross road in Calicut. Mesco's funiture production facility in Jepara, Indonesia, closely works with architects to ship Indonesian made furnitures and raw materials to luxury residential and resort projects across Kerala.
Mesco's real estate development wing was started by Mr Faizal Mesco, the firm's MD in the year 1996. Mr Faizal, a civil engineering graduate with a masters degree in business administration has been active in the realty scene of Calicut as a builder for the past twenty five years. Mr Faizal is a prominent structural design consultant as well, serving as consultant to major builders and projects across Kerala, under the banner Faizal Associates, a sister concern of Mesco Builders. The senior managements vast experience in Middle east and Kerala along with practical and shrewd business management skills is one among the many factors that drives the firm forward. Makati group, headed by Mr Saheed PK, a leading cargo company in Singapore, Malaysia, Philipines, Indonesia, India, UK, USA and the middle east has joined hands with Mesco Builders, a partnership that propels the group to further heights.
